My Every great business begins with a passion.
For us, it started many years ago with a young boy who loved the outdoors, hunting (something he loved to do with his dad), and learning the art of processing meat. What began as preparing meat products for his parents grew into a lifelong skill—providing quality meat for his own family through hunting and now for others at our butchery, ‘My Butcher’.
At the same time, a young girl kept herself busy during her childhood playing “office,” organizing, and dreaming of one day managing something meaningful. She found joy in administration, structure, and making things run smoothly.
Two different passions now with one shared vision. We got married in 2013 and have been blessed with two wonderful boys. Our sons are growing up the same way their dad did—learning the rewarding process of hunting and preparing meat, carrying forward a tradition built on hard work, family, and passion.
Together, in October 2021, we embarked on the journey to start a butchery that serves our community by providing excellent quality meat, custom processing, and creating opportunities for people who were previously unemployed. We feel so blessed that we have been able to be play a part in helping others to provide for their own families.
We proudly prepare meat packs according to your custom order and deliver them at the end of the month to your home, right here in our hometown Greytown or to a ‘Collection Point’ in surrounding towns. We currently have a mid-month delivery in Greytown which we trust will filter through to the other areas as we continue to grow.
